Interior & Architecture collaboration with Koridor 27
Walter Gropius, one of the pioneers of modern architecture, once said: “Architecture begins where engineering ends.”. Looking at the photos in Splashy’s Architecture collection you can only conclude that he was right. You have to stop and wonder how is this even possible, and how the hell did we humans build this. When we began creating this collection we decided to reach out and find help from someone more experienced in this field. And there aren’t many people with a keener eye for architecture than Franka and Rajan from Koridor 27.
Franka Santaleza and Rajan Milošević come from Labin in Istria and together they founded Koridor 27, a company that specializes in interior and architectural photography. Over the years they’ve done numerous projects in Croatia and worldwide which resulted in some awesome photos along the way. When asked about which places impressed them the most they mentioned Dubai and Iceland.
This is what they said: “Dubai is full of locations that simply grab your attention, from modern buildings to older parts of the city. While Iceland has a beautiful architecture that fits in perfectly with the magical nature it is surrounded with.”
But the reason why they are the perfect match for Splashy is their passion for photography. They said this on why they chose architecture and interior photography: “Architecture surrounds us all in everyday life. The interaction between humans and space is essential and we simply love to capture those moments with our camera.”
